
Thursday, June 3, 2021 is the Last Day Of School. Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors will take exams on Wednesday, June 2nd and Thursday, June 3rd. There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, May 31st, The Last Day for SENIORS is Wednesday, May 26th.


Congratulations to our Girls Track Team for winning the meet against Roanoke-Benson and Lowpoint-Washburn. Great job ladies. Congratulations also to Laney Lester. Laney broke the school discus record that she previously broke earlier this season. The school discus record is now set at 121 feet, 11 inches.

Congratulations to Henry-Senachwine/Lowpoint Washburn Lady Mallard Basketball player Keally Braman. Keally signed her letter of intent to play at Illinois Valley Community College on Wednesday, April 28th. Keally was a 4-year starter for the Lady Mallards. In addition to playing basketball, Keally hopes to play softball all while working toward a degree in the medical field. Congrats Keally.


Congratulations to Nakeita Kessling and Hope Self for receiving Tri-County All-Conference honors for Volleyball!
Nakeita received 2nd team honors and Hope received 3rd team honors.

Congratulations to Henry-Senachwine High School for placing third in the 2020-2021 IHSA Music Sweepstakes contest for Class D. This is the 4th year in a row for this achievement out of all the Class D schools in the State of Illinois! Great job Mallards.


Congratulations Laney Lester. Laney broke the HSHS school record in the discus at yesterday's meet against Seneca. Laney threw 120 feet, 9 inches. The previous record was 120 foot, 4 inches. Great job Laney.


Wednesday, April 28th is a Black Day. All JUNIORS, In-Person and Remote, will take Sections 2 and 3 of the Illinois Science Assessment. Remote students should contact jhill@hscud5.org if they do not have their access codes.


Juniors, all National Honor Society applications are due to Miss Crook by 8:30 a.m. this morning. Tuesday, April 27th is a Red Day. Track will host Seneca and Baseball and Softball will HOST Kewanee this afternoon! Go Mallards!


Monday, April 26th is a Black Day. All JUNIORS, In-Person and remote will begin the Illinois Science Assessment TODAY during Advisory at 1:00 p.m. Sections 2 and 3 will be administered on Wednesday during Advisory.
