The Henry-Senachwine High School Prom is scheduled for May 7, 2022 at Shore Acres in Chillicothe.
The Henry-Senachwine High School Post Prom Committee is making plans to host the 2022 Post Prom Party on Saturday, May 7th.
The Post Prom Committee will meet tomorrow night, Thursday, March 10th, at 7:00 p.m. in the HSHS Media Center. Please enter the building through the main entrance as you would for games and other events.

There is a player and parent meeting for anyone interested in playing football during the 2022-2023 school year on Wednesday, March 2nd at 6:00 p.m. in the Washburn High School Cafeteria.
Interested athletes that missed last week's player meeting should stop by the HSHS office to pick up a packet of information.


Congratulations to Cole Davis and Nolan Miller. Cole and Nolan were named to the 2021-2022 Tri-County Conference All Conference Team for Scholastic Bowl. Great job Cole and Nolan.


Update on masks on school buses and vans:
The CDC recently announced that it will no longer require individuals to wear masks on buses or vans operated by public or private school systems.
As a result, masks will now be optional, not required, for individuals being transported on Henry-Senachwine School buses and vans. This change is effective immediately.

Tonight's HSHS Boys Basketball Game at Peoria Heights has been cancelled due to impending weather and will not be rescheduled.


Dear Henry-Senachwine Families & Staff:
In light of the most recent JCAR decision, Henry-Senachwine School District has modified its COVID mitigations effective immediately. Please note that COVID mitigations are subject to change. The current mitigations are as follows:
The mask mandate is suspended - masks are optional. We will respect each individual choice regarding wearing/not wearing masks. Masks will continue to be available for anyone who voluntarily elects to do so.
Please note that masking on school buses is still required by CDC order and everyone must continue to wear masks while on District transportation.
Asymptomatic close contacts to COVID will not be excluded from school.
The weekly testing requirement for unvaccinated school personnel is suspended.

Due to the Winter Weather Warning, there will be no in-person school tomorrow, Thursday February 17. Instead we will use an E-Learning day for tomorrow.
All bus transportation routes (including ACC, Kiefer, Hall, BEST, Safe School) are canceled for tomorrow.
Afternoon/Evening extracurriculars are to be determined.
At HSHS:
Students should log into Google Classroom for their E-Learning Day classes or follow directions previously given to them by their classroom teachers. Bell schedules are in the student Google Classroom class page.
At HSGS/JH:
Students should check in via Teacherease to record their attendance between 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. Students should log into Google Classroom for their assignments or complete packets. Teachers will be available from 8:30 am to 1:30 p.m.
Meal Pick-Up (Optional):
During an E-Learning day, you can choose to order and pick up a meal for your children. If you choose to order a meal, please click the link below to submit your order. The order needs to be submitted by 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning (Feb. 17). Meals that are ordered need to be picked up between 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at HSGS/JH tomorrow (Feb. 17).
