Logan Serpette has been named the December Student of the month at Henry-Senachwine High School. Logan is the son of Mike and Shannon Serpette. Logan was chosen from a group of students nominated and selected by the Henry-Senachwine High School faculty and staff. Logan is a senior at HSHS and is very involved in the school and student life. Logan has been a High Honor Roll student all four years at HSHS and is a National Honor Society member. He has participated in Band, Scholastic Bowl (currently the captain), Cross Country, and Track for all four years of high school.
Outside of school, Logan has volunteered with MSW Projects and coding for Solar MC.
After high school, Logan plans to attend Monmouth College to major in Computer Science.
On Monday, December 19, 2022, at the school board meeting, Logan will be presented with an engraved pen set from the Henry-Senachwine Education Association and a personalized plaque from the district designating him as "December Student of the Month." In addition, he will receive a $25.00 gift certificate from Heartland Bank in Henry and a $25.00 gift card from MidAmerica National Bank in Henry.
