New Website and Mobile App for Henry-Senachwine Schools
We’re thrilled to announce that the Henry-Senachwine Community Unit School District #5 has a new website and mobile app!
We hope that this website helps students, parents, and community members know what is happening whether they choose to use the website or their phones. We understand that most families are using smartphones as a primary means to communicate. That’s why we’ve created an app that is custom-built for mobile devices. You can download the app for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
To access the website, simply go to https://www.hscud5.org/
This will take you to the “District Website”. From there, you can click on “Schools” to get to the “Henry-Senachwine High School” and “Henry-Senachwine Grade and Junior High School” sites.
To access the mobile app, please follow the steps below:
1. Search ‘Henry-Senachwine CUSD #5’ in your phone’s app store and download the app
2. Select ‘ALLOW’ when prompted on initial download to ensure you receive notifications
3. Open the HSCUD #5 app, and navigate to the left-side menu for ‘SETTINGS’
4. Ensure your settings are turned on and your school is selected
We wanted to get the new website and mobile app out to you, but additional information and updates will continue to be added as we further update and develop the website and mobile app.
Please be sure to look into allowing “Notifications” from the schools and district through the mobile app, as we will push out timely information (e.g. school cancellations, event changes, etc…) using notification alerts. We will continue to use our school messenger system to provide notifications until the new mobile app is fully functional.
