Connor Anderson has been named the April Student of the month at Henry-Senachwine High School. He is the son of Joel and Amy Anderson. Connor was selected from a group of students nominated by the faculty.
Connor, a senior at HSHS, is very involved in the school as well as with student activities. He has been a Honor Roll student for four years. Connor has participated in: FBLA, four years; HSHS Giving Back, four years; MDWAP, four years; and Student Council, four years.
Outside of school, Connor has been a member of the Marshall-Putnam Fair Board, Henry Fire Department, and River Valley Players Board. He is involved with Boy Scouts and 4-H Club.
After high school, Connor plans to enter the workforce and continue to be an active member of the community.
On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at the school board meeting, Connor will be
presented with an engraved pen set from the Henry-Senachwine Education
Association and a personalized plaque from the district designating him as
"Student of the Month." In addition, he will receive a $25.00 gift certificate
from Heartland Bank in Henry and a $25.00 gift card from MidAmerica National Bank in Henry.
