HSHS would like to congratulate Alexia Serpette for the extraordinary achievement of earning the designation of Illinois State Scholar.

Alexia is a senior at Henry-Senachwine High School and is the daughter of Michael and Shannon Serpette. Illinois State Scholars represent the top 10% of high school seniors, with more than 16,500 high school students across the state receiving this honor. Students receiving this honor possess strong academic potential and are chosen based on a combination of exemplary ACT or SAT test scores and sixth-semester class rank. ISAC, the state agency committed to helping make college accessible and affordable for Illinois families, first introduced the Illinois State Scholar recognition program in 1958.

Congratulatory letters from ISAC have been mailed to Scholars, and a Certificate of Achievement will be presented to Alexia this spring.

Congratulations Alexia Serpette!
