Dear Henry-Senachwine Families:
You or your student may have received a P-EBT card in the past few weeks from the Department of Human Services (DHS). We have contacted the Illinois State Board of Education for clarification on why these cards were sent. It was determined that these cards were sent in error by DHS to those that do not qualify for free and/or reduced meals.
If you do not qualify for the free and/or reduced meals and have received a P-EBT card, please contact DHS to cancel or return the benefits. Contact information to DHS may be located in the P-EBT mailing you received or you can call DHS at 1-833-621-0737.
Those who qualify for free or reduced lunch do qualify for a P-EBT card.
If you did not recently receive a P-EBT card, you can disregard this message.

Due to the continued heat as we end this week, Henry-Senachwine Schools will release at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday (Aug. 26) and Friday (Aug. 27). Breakfast will still be served in the morning, but lunch will not be served on these days.
Morning preschool classes will attend on Thursday and dismiss at 11:00 a.m. Afternoon preschool classes will not attend on Thursday.
On Friday, there is no preschool for morning or afternoon classes.
