Dear Henry-Senachwine Parents, Guardians, and Staff:
Please be advised that an asbestos abatement project at Henry-Senachwine Grade and Junior High School is scheduled to be conducted from June 10, 2024 to June 19, 2024. The project will involve the removal of accessible asbestos throughout the school. The asbestos does not present an exposure hazard to students or staff, but is required to be removed due to the phase 2 HVAC project work. Illinois Department of Public Health licensed workers who are trained and accredited to perform asbestos abatement in Illinois will complete the project.
